Conference Room Phones

There are a number of choices when considering a specialized phone for your conference room. Nortel’s NACU connects directly to a digital station port in your Nortel PBX while all other models require analog adapters. If your conference room is very large you should consider the Soundstation2 EX. If aesthetics is a concern, consider the Soundstation 2W Wireless model.

Uninterruptible Power Supplies – Battery Backup Systems

The following APC – UPS options are configured to supply runtime and protection from spikes and surges. The amount of time your system will remain active can be expanded by adding battery packs. Nortel BCM products support an intelligent interface feature allowing for a graceful shutdown of the BCM and the ability to provide a warning message. The APC will also communicate to the BCM for shutdown 2 minutes before the UPS battery is drained.

Music On Hold (MOH)

Nortel phone systems have a Music-on-hold connection built in. The newer BCM platforms allow you to download WAV files directly into the system. This means easier management of on hold marketing, messages for ACD queues, and the ability to professionally record Automated Attendant recordings.
