FAX Services

Nortel’s Business Communication Manger supports a full suite of FAX services hosted by the CallPilot voicemail system. Features such as FAX enabled mailboxes; FAX on demand and outbound faxing from PC desktops are supported by the system. This easy to install and configure expansion option of the BCM is a great alternative to traditional network based FAX servers.

Traditionally customers use separate direct inward dial (DID) numbers to give each member of the company a personal FAX number that routes messages directly to their private CallPilot Inbox. Coupled with BCM Unified Messaging, FAX services enable users to easily address, route and store FAX messages much like they do with email.
