Greg Bertschmann – President
Greg brings to Boston Wireless 21 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career with Nynex in 1986, and spent the next 9 years in Sales, Sales Management, and General Management with both Nynex and Nortel Networks. Greg founded Boston Wireless in 1995 with a goal to build a company made up of a team of employees dedicated to providing a higher level of knowledge and customer service to a business market that was demanding it. Boston Wireless has seen tremendous growth and expansion over the past 12 years, under the leadership of Greg and his Management Team. Greg received his BA in Economics from Connecticut College. He currently resides in Sherborn, MA with his wife Kathie and their 4 children. |
Jeff Sieswerda – Vice President
Jeff began his career in 1991 with Nortel Networks and brings 16 consecutive years of experience in the telecommunications industry to Boston Wireless. After spending 5 years in both Customer Service and Sales at Nortel, Jeff moved on to start Boston Wireless with Greg in 1995. He since has held numerous positions in Sales Management, Technical Support, and Business Development. Jeff currently manages the Sales Teams for both Shoretel and Nortel Systems and is tasked with growing this business division and fostering new business relationships. He will continue to take a lead role in new product development and with the sales engineering teams. Jeff received a BS in Marketing from Babson College and currently resides in Sherborn, MA |
Mike Sullivan – Vice President
Mike began his career in 1992 with Nortel Networks and brings 15 consecutive years of telecom experience to Boston Wireless and its customers. He was one of the original members of the Boston Wireless team, moving over from Nortel 1995. Mike was initially responsible for our sales development and spent several years at Boston Wireless finding and building our Nortel customer base. In recent years his responsibilities have shifted to directing our Operations, Project Engineering, and Service Teams. Over the years he has been very involved with marketing efforts and guiding our internal processes. Mike received his BA in Economics from Trinity College |
Chris Gioffre – Vice President
Chris began his career in 1987 at Nynex working alongside Greg in the Sales Department. His 20 years in telecommunications took him through Nortel Networks where he continued to develop in Sales, Sales Management, and ultimately became Sales Manager for Nortel’s National Accounts. Since joining Boston Wireless, Chris has been instrumental in building and training our Sales Teams. He took on the role of developing our relationships with Verizon and Paetec and ultimately building a Network Business Division at Boston Wireless. Chris continues to lead our sales efforts and is working closely with Jeff to cultivate new opportunities within the Shoretel and Nortel product lines. Chris received his BA in Business Administration from Assumption College and currently resides in Holliston, MA with his wife Colleen and their three children. |
Jim Hilliard – Vice President / Strategic Account Manager
Jim began his telecom journey at Nynex in 1989 in the Outside Sales Division working alongside both Chris and Greg. Jim joined the Boston Wireless Team in 1997 initially responsible for Nortel System sales. From 2002 through 2006 Jim’s role shifted to managing Operations, during this time Jim’s efforts allowed Boston Wireless to expand while keeping customer satisfaction extremely high. Ultimately our field technician team, project managers, and cabling team all expanded under his leadership. Starting in 2007, Jim has again shown his versatility and value by stepping away from Operations and back into Sales. He is tasked with finding and developing Strategic Accounts for Shoretel and Nortel opportunities. Jim received his BS in Business Administration from Southeastern Mass University and now lives in Bridgewater with his wife Joy and their two daughters. |
Jeremy Vignaux – Vice President of Engineering
Jeremy came to Boston Wireless in January of 2004 after having spent many successful years in a local IT outsourcing company. Jeremy’s tremendous experience and knowledge in all aspects of IT has allowed for a smooth transition for Boston Wireless into the new converged world of voice and data applications and VOIP services. Jeremy continues to lead internal training and new product introduction initiatives at Boston Wireless. Our continued growth has also tasked him with the responsibility of building a separate Engineering Team. Jeremy received his BS in Computer Engineering from Boston University, and currently lives in Sherborn, MA with his wife Wendy and their son. |
Tim Bertschmann – Strategic Account Manager
The first several years of Tim’s business career were spent in the advertising and energy businesses. He joined the Boston Wireless Team in 1998 focused on our Verizon Agency program in outside sales. Tim quickly became an integral part of our team and was tasked with building and managing his own Sales Group in 2003. Over the next few years he hired, trained, and managed a successful sales group while maintaining his own networking and business partnerships. Tim is presently focused exclusively on the growth of our ShoreTel business line by leveraging his extensive network of relationships. This will include finding and developing Strategic Accounts in New England and Nationally. Tim received his BS in Marketing from Babson College and now lives in Charlestown. |
Kama Lawrence – Network Installation and Support Manager
Kama began her career in telecom when she joined Boston Wireless in 1998. During that time Boston Wireless became a Verizon Agent and Kama quickly became an integral part of this Network Business Division. Initially she was solely responsible for the operations and ordering relationship with Verizon. Over the years her responsibilities have included implementing new orders, solving customer problems, and training our sales staff. She currently manages our Network Implementation Group and is responsible for all network orders placed through Boston Wireless for both Verizon and Paetec. Kama received her BA in English from Fitchburg State College and currently resides in Weymouth, MA. |
John Centeio – Operations Manager
John began his career at Boston Wireless as a field technician in 2000. He quickly became one of the team’s key members, assuming a leadership role with new system installations and complex upgrades. After 6 successful years, John left Boston Wireless to work as part of an IT group for a multi-location company. This career change brought valuable IT experience as voice and data communications continue to converge. We were extremely pleased to bring John back as our Operations Manager in 2007. His responsibilities include managing our field technicians team, cabling team, and dispatch managers. John currently resides in Dorchester, MA. |
Paul Pacheco – Project Engineering Team Leader
Paul began his career at Boston Wireless as a Project Engineer in 2005. His past industry experience allowed him to immediately assume a leadership role overseeing equipment installations. He quickly became a key technical resource for our Operations and Support staffs. In 2007 Paul took on the additional responsibility of leading the Project Engineering team, an extremely hardworking and diverse group at Boston Wireless. He assigns new projects within the group, helps resolve issues, and guides their technical goals. Paul received his BA in Sociology at the University of Richmond and currently resides in Framingham. |
Beth Dziokonski – Project Engineer / Support Leader
Beth began her career at Boston Wireless in 1998 as our sole Customer Support person where she excelled at building customer loyalty with her problem solving abilities. In 2000 Beth moved to our Project Engineering team and has since overseen installations and upgrades. She has been instrumental in writing documentation for training and developing methods we use to implement our solutions. In 2007 Beth took on the additional responsibility of managing and training our equipment Support Team. This role includes technical training and guiding the development for this key group. Beth graduated from University of Massachusetts with a BS in Environmental Science and currently resides in Clinton. |
Barbara Dziokonski – Office Manager
Barbara began her career at Boston Wireless as our Office Manager in 2006. She has quickly established herself as the leader of our administrative team reporting directly to Greg. She is the manager of a diverse group including purchasing, warehouse, accounting, and front desk personnel. Her responsibilities include guiding this group, working directly with Greg on various company goals and issues, and establishing Human Resource guidelines. Barbara received her BS in Education and her BS in Sociology from Fitchburg State College, she currently resides in Allston. |
Angela Ruel – Purchasing Manager
Angela began her career at Boston Wireless as our receptionist in 2003. She soon moved to the position of Network Support where she was responsible for implementing network contracts and working directly with customers and sales to meet installation timeframes. She also became instrumental in tracking customer information within our CRM platform. Her strong organizational skills led her into the role as our Purchasing Manager in 2007. This involves managing relationships with our vendors, working closely with Operations and Sales to meet deadlines, and overseeing our warehouse. Angela currently resides in Framingham. |
