Framingham, MA January 5, 2012 - Boston Wireless, a leading provider of VoIP, HD Video and Unified Communications solutions successfully launched its Global Unified Communications Center (UCC). The UCC, located at Boston Wireless headquarters, provides new value added services to complement an existing Managed Services portfolio. The UCC will be using advanced applications to allow for 24/7 proactive monitoring of voice and data networks regardless of the carrier or service provider.
“Our UCC is comprised of experienced voice and data engineers equipped to deal proactively with emerging issues.” said Mike Sullivan, VP of Operations. “Our goal is to insure maximum uptime for the key endpoints within each customer’s network infrastructure by introducing remote monitoring and 24x7 alarm notifications. The result moving forward will be new service options for our customers and additional access to our growing technical team.”
Boston Wireless can deploy specialized non-intrusive hardware and software to network infrastructures which will provide automated alerts to fix issues remotely from the UCC. “In fact, we frequently resolve issues before our customers are aware they had problems. More importantly, it is done quickly and without the need for Boston Wireless going to the site,” said Sullivan.
With today’s network complexity and rapid technology evolution, the need to optimize voice, data and video traffic is that much more important and the Boston Wireless UCC is be equipped to deliver that improved operational efficiency.
